Benjamin L. Harris, CPA, President & CEO

Ben L. Harris, President and CEO Mr. Benjamin L. Harris holds a long-time passion for and commitment to global public health and safety, communications, and technology—causes at the core of BLH Technologies, Inc., the company he founded in 2003. As President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Harris provides the corporate guidance, strategic direction, and vision that define BLH.

Throughout his career, Mr. Harris has gained insights into how the development of innovative systems can enhance communication and public health initiatives around the globe. Among his experiences, he served with the multinational forces in support of Operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield as a Medical Services Officer. He also has spent years providing guidance to Federal agencies with a health focus.

In addition, Mr. Harris has successfully managed multimillion-dollar, multiyear Federal contracts requiring IT support services and large‑scale commercial IT projects.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Mr. Harris has more than 25 years of business management experience. Among his specific areas of expertise are global supply chain management, accounting, finance, and contract/project management in both the public and private arenas. His past positions include U.S. Department of Defense Auditor, Chief Financial Officer, Senior Systems Consultant for a major software development company, and Director of Consulting with American Express.
