Rockville, Maryland – BLH Technologies, Inc., is pleased to partner with the Montgomery County Family Justice Center (MCFJC), which is a comprehensive center for the victims of intimate partner and family violence. MCFJC dedicates itself to helping victims of family violence, as well as their children, in a family-friendly environment. MCFJC provides a wide range of free support services to these victims, including coordinated advocacy, law enforcement, civil legal services, counseling, shelter placement, and other social services.
BLH recently orchestrated a new stuffed animal and book drive in our Rockville office. All items donated were given to MCFJC to continue its tradition of giving a book or stuffed animal to every child that visits. BLH employees donated a variety of books, in both the English and Spanish languages, tailored to those from birth to age 11.
“We’re honored to support such an important cause—one that is within our own community. It is rewarding to know that we contributed to the joy of children leaving the Center with their new toy or book,” said BLH President and CEO Benjamin L. Harris.
BLH staff members will also assist MCFJC’s Foundation in planning its 3rd Annual Benefit in fall 2012. The benefit will raise awareness and funds for MCFJC as it continues to offer its vital services to its fellow neighbors in Montgomery County.
